PRINCESS OF FLOWERS QUINTESSENCE
OF MEDIEVAL ROMANCE
Beautiful CD of Celtic, Renaissance and Medieval music
for voice, Celtic harp, and acoustic instruments, by Margaret Davis. Princess of Flowers
takes the listener on a mythic journey to Medieval times. Margaret Davis's debut
recording features celestial vocals plus the magical interplay of Celtic harp, guitar,
cello, recorders, hurdy-gurdy, Middle-Eastern percussion, and the Medieval vielle.
This atmospherically lovely CD features original arrangements of Celtic folk songs,
Renaissance dances, and Medieval troubadour melodies. The lyrics, some in French,
Latin, and Gaelic, speak of love and longing, quests and revels, magic and transformation
in an evocative style that will transport and enchant you. Fans of Loreena McKennitt,
and Enya will enjoy this exciting recording!

AVALON RISING
Experience the magic of the first Avalon Rising CD!!
Avalon Rising is an enchanting, electro-acoustic blend
of Medieval, Celtic, and original music. The shimmering interplay of guitar, Celtic
harp, and flute accompanies the soaring vocals of lead vocalists Margaret Davis and
Kristoph Klover. Ranging from driving Irish and Middle Eastern worldbeat sounds to
lyrical Celtic harp-based ballads, Avalon Rising weaves a magical tapestry of sound
in the same vein as Loreena McKennitt, Renaissance, and Dead Can Dance. Powerful
and entrancing, their richly textured sound weaves together original music with the
magical echoes of Medieval, Celtic, and Middle Eastern music to create a glowing
new musical vision."Wets the mind like Irish mist ... The musical teamwork
is superb." --John Wheeler, Harpbeat
